This beautiful apartment is often rented for film and commercial shoots as well as by bold faced names in town for films. Exquisitely designed and renovated for luxury and comfort, the apt has everything you will ever need: 2 Waterworks baths, top of the line lighting from Urban Archaeology, Waterworks kitchen and marble island, working fireplace, washer-drier, high ceilings, dining alcove with full sized dining table seating 6, tons of storage including a walk-in master closet, and last but not least, a positively huge garden measuring 20×50 feet and backing up against a 25 foot high old brick building which lends to the privacy of the garden. The unit has central air and heat. For chilly days there is a fire pit outside where it’s great to sit outside under the stars.

The owner is an interior designer who has traveled extensively in Bali and Indonesia and this is reflected in the interior with ceiling fans from the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi,and a Tucker Robbins fireplace mantelpiece made from a 500 year old slab of wood from Sri Lanka. This theme continues in the garden where the 15 foot high garden walls are fenced with teak planks and planted with bamboo trees in large teak planters.

The garden has several seating areas including a 6 foot marble dining table and chairs, a fire pit and chairs, plus Japanese-style white sectionals creating an outdoor living room.

Best suited for 2 people and a possible third. The Bedroom has queen sized bed and flat screen television. Cable for TV is available for an extra charge.Utilities including electricity and Wifi/TV cable are additional charges for stays over one week.

Extra charge for extra early or late checkin.

Non barking Dogs are allowed on a case by case basis. For stays over one week tenant pays for utilities, and wifi. House rules include No smoking and no parties.

Great location: Block is wonderful with many restaurants on the block plus so many others close by. Wine stores, gourmet grocery stores also just down the block.

The secret to this location is how easy it is to get around whether across town , the west side, soho/tribeca or even Brooklyn: there are cross town buses just outside the apartment.
